For the last few weeks, the Holy Spirit has been speaking this word so strongly into my spirit, "Victory." Every single time I hear this word, I sense something powerful. I can feel God's powerful right hand lifting up many of His people in this time, showing up as their Vindicator, Defender, Protecter, and loving Father. I believe that many of God's people are about to experience a turnaround in their lives.
"My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me." Psalm 63:8 NKJV
Victory comes from the Lord and this is a season of victory. I can perceive in my spirit that this victory will manifest in the lives of many before the year ends. I believe that many people came into this year expecting a turnaround, restoration, blessings, provision, transformation, unity, healing, etc., and maybe you began to feel discouraged when you weren't seeing what you were believing for. But I believe that many times God waits to move in the last months, weeks, or days to show you that He has been with you since the beginning. God loves to work against all odds so that He may receive all of the glory! Just when you think nothing will happen, the Lord intervenes.
"Victory comes from you, O Lord. May you bless your people." Psalm 3:8 NLT
Dream
A few weeks ago, I woke up one morning and I shouted to my family, "It feels like Christmas!" The atmosphere felt like Christmas. I could sense joy, tranquility, and peace— it all reminded me of what a Christmas morning feels like. (I wasn't realizing that the Lord was speaking to me.) I prayed to God to receive revelation over this Christmas sensation. The following day, I had a dream where the Lord clearly spoke to me saying, "A time of joy is coming." In prayer, the Lord gave me the interpretation of the dream and what the "Christmas" feeling represented; I heard the Lord say, "Christmas represents a time of joy. You won't have to wait until Christmas for joy to come. Joy is already here."
Key: Many times the Lord uses symbols, numbers, images, colors, etc. to speak to us and understand the message He is trying to release. In this case, the Lord used "Christmas" as an example, so that I could understand that He was speaking to me about a season of "Joy."
Joy is already here. Joy is a result of many victories. Every single trial and test that the Lord has allowed into your life to test your heart, mind and shape your character has not been in vain. The more trials we face, the more victories we get to experience through Him. James said in chapter 1 (NKJV)
"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." James 1:2-4
For the last month, the Lord has also been showing me keys and doors in the spirit. Paul said in Colossians chapter 4 (AMPC)
"And at the same time pray for us also, that God may open a door to us for the Word (the Gospel), to proclaim the mystery concerning Christ (the Messiah) on account of which I am in prison;” Colossians 4:3
Paul was asking for prayer so that God would open a door (an opportunity to preach the Gospel) for them. Although Paul was referring to an opportunity to preach the Gospel, we can see that the Lord has the keys to open doors. Through prayer, the right doors open! The Lord has the key to open doors for you in this season! He opens doors that no one can shut and He shuts doors that no one can open.
Vision
Last week, as I was in my time of prayer, a vision opened right in front of me. I began to see a golden treasure chest. The treasure chest was glowing with light shining out of it. I was trying to understand what I was seeing in the spirit and in that moment, the Holy Spirit helped me remember the vision of the keys. In the spirit, I grabbed the key and opened the treasure chest. Paul said in 2 Corinthians chapter 4 (AMPC/NKJV)
“However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves. We are hard-pressed on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not in despair; We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never destroyed…” 2 Corinthians 4:7-9
Why has God chosen to put His Glory in us [earthen, frail, human] vessels? So that the greatness of the power may be of God and not us. So that everyone can see that the power is of God, and not the vessel. Paul [the vessel] was hard-pressed on every side, suffered, and was troubled in many ways, but he knew the victory was in Jesus.
There is victory and open doors to step into for those who have been pressed on every side, perplexed, and persecuted for His sake. The Lord is lifting up those who have been pressing in, seeking Him, and walking in His will despite the circumstances. In this season, warfare increased like never before because the key was about to open the door. God has given you victory and the door has been opened.
